Majors Division - Ages 11-12

This Division is for those who have excelled at the AAA level and represent the best talent in South Hill Little League. Play is fully competitive baseball following all of the rules in the Official Little League Rule Book. Player assessment is required. The most common ages for this division are 11-12 years old, although 10 year olds can play in the Majors Division if drafted. We bat the line-up in this division.

The ability for 12 year old players to waiver down into Minors exists due to the heightened skill requirements and potential for injury at the Majors level. 

Majors is a drafted division. No team requests are permitted. 

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Mitt, cleats, baseball pants, socks and belt (color selected by team managers), protective cup, bat (must be 2018 Little League approved), and batting helmet. South Hill Little League provides jerseys and hats that the players get to keep.
